Job Description

To design, simulate the properties of, and make prototypes for RF and microwave devices relevant for the various research teams in CQT.  

• Communicate  with PIs on their specific project needs in terms of RF and microwave devices in the MHz to 10s of GHz range
• Simulate potential device designs, optimize their performance, and discuss with researchers about key figures of merits etc
• Generate prototypes of such devices and facilitate the testing of their performance
• Train and teach students on relevant simulate softwares and design principles when needed
• Other ad-hoc responsibilities related to RF and microwave devices and electronics

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: Master’s or Ph.D in RF engineering or other related fields
• At least two years’ working experience working with RF device design, simulation and testing.
• Knowledge in technologies such as wire bonding will be an advantage

• Prior experience working in laboratories and professional engineering entities is an advantage
• Ability to multi-task and perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Resourceful, self-motivated, good organizational and strong communication skills
