The Global Health Office at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health is expanding and seeking an enthusiastic and capable individual to join its team to advance the School's global health research and education mission. The successful candidate will draw on their expertise and training in global or public health to communicate the impactful work of our faculty, staff, and students across international settings; identify new funding opportunities; and engage meaningfully with our global student and alumni community. 

This position will suit someone who is proactive, globally minded, and passionate about strengthening Singapore's role in equitable partnerships and promoting research that addresses pressing health challenges around Southeast Asia and the world. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy working collaboratively across disciplines and cultures, and be skilled in communicating complex ideas to diverse audiences. 

Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify and Communicate Funding Opportunities
Proactively scan for international funding opportunities aligned with faculty interests and School priorities; disseminate relevant calls and maintain awareness of evolving research directions.
- Support Global Health Business Development
Curate information and develop presentation materials for outreach to potential funders and collaborators, supporting the School’s global engagement strategy.
- Manage Presentation Materials
Maintain and regularly update the Global Health Office’s core slide deck and related materials to ensure consistent, high-quality institutional representation.
- Track and Report Global Health Activities
Monitor and document the School’s global health initiatives, including research, education, and outreach activities. Prepare internal and external reports in various formats to meet stakeholder needs.
- Lead Strategic Communications
Draft and produce compelling digital content for the School’s website, social media channels, and newsletters, showcasing research achievements and key events. Work with visual and digital assets to develop slides, electronic mailers, and web content.
- Coordinate Website Content
Oversee the development, coordination, and regular updating of content for the Global Health Office website, working closely with staff, faculty, and senior leadership.
- Manage Key Stakeholder Databases
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of faculty, funders, students, alumni, and partners relevant to Global Health.

- Develop Guidelines and Best Practices
Formulate and update internal guidelines to enhance research quality and promote international engagement in global health.
- Promote Educational Programmes and Engage Students
Support the international promotion of Global Health educational offerings (e.g., MPH, PhD), and contribute to student engagement efforts.
- Coordinate International Events and Representation
Plan and execute the School’s participation in international conferences and events, highlighting its research, education, and global partnerships.
- Contribute to Team Goals
Participate actively in Global Health Office meetings and planning discussions, contributing ideas and supporting shared objectives.
- Provide Administrative Support
Assist with the organisation of meetings, events, and other administrative duties as needed.
- Undertake Additional Duties
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Vice Dean (Global Health) or the Global Health Office Manager.
- Regional and International Travel
Willingness to travel occasionally within the region and internationally, as required.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Public Health, Global Health, or a related discipline; a PhD or experience in a relevant public health/global health role is advantageous but not necessary.
• Strong understanding of the higher education, research, or public health environment, with demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent command of English, with the ability to craft content for diverse audiences and formats, including reports, slide decks, web content, and social media.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with experience engaging stakeholders across academic, governmental, or international settings.
• Demonstrated experience in organising or supporting outreach, promotional, or educational activities; prior involvement in international initiatives is advantageous.
• Proven organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
• Collaborative and adaptable, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset suited to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Comfortable navigating digital tools and systems; ability to quickly learn and work within NUS platforms is expected.
