Research Associate (Biorisk Management: Projects Development)

 

Job Description
The Asia Centre for Health Security (ACHS) at the National University of Singapore School of Public Health (NUS SPH) is seeking a Research Associate with experience to support Centre leadership in developing biorisk management projects, focused on biosafety and biosecurity in Asia and beyond.

 

 

The RA will work with the Lead to: a) develop a webinar series to raise awareness and understanding of accidental and deliberate biological threats; b) translate public health, scientific guidance or clinical guidance into practical and contextualized resource materials for implementation; c) organize biosecurity workshops and training content; d) write papers for a range of audiences including website content, peer-reviewed publications, or policy papers.

 

 

The RA will be expected to work independently under the supervision of Centre leadership, interact with other ACHS staff, and external organizations, speakers and fellows.

 

 

Requirement

Applicants are expected to have at least a Master’s degree from an established University, preferably in biotechnology, biology, life sciences, medicine or public health.

• Demonstrate excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Able to communicate scientific concepts clearly and concisely

The grade of appointment will be accorded based on qualifications and work experience.
