Job Description
The Singapore Population Health Studies (SPHS) is a large scale population-based health research project by the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore. We are looking for a team player with experience in making outbound calls to people who signed up to join SPHS research studies. Staff will be required to screen eligibility of potential participants, schedule their study visits and conduct recruitment on-site.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Contact potential participants by call, message, email or mail.
2. Screen participants for their eligibility.
3. Explain the study information to ascertain their willingness to take part before scheduling an appointment.
4. Book a suitable appointment or schedule for follow-up to do so later.
5. Audio-record all calls for QC purposes.
6. Make at least 1 booking per hour of calls.
7. Address any queries from the participant and provide any necessary informational materials to facilitate the study visit.
8. Conduct consent-taking and interviewing face-to-face with audio-recording, entering data into online forms via a tablet real time.
9. Register participants attending the visit, coordinate the flow and follow-up on missed appointments or enquiries.
10. Monitor and update particpants' completion of procedures.
Qualifications
1. Diploma in any discipline and minimum 3 years of any work experience, or 'O' levels with minimum 10 years of working experience.
2. Work hours are on weekdays (7:30am-12:30pm / 7:30am-5pm depending on operational requirements and at least 2 designated Saturdays a month alternate week in-lieu of Wed (7:30am-12:30pm)
3. Hourly rate at $17, for 24 - 36 hours of work per week.
4. Proficient in using tablets for data entry.
5. Proficient in English (read and write).
6. Comptency in Excel (large tables, pivot, formulas)
