Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivables Manager to join our Order-to-Cash team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounts receivable activities, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of incoming payments, and managing customer credit balances. This role will also involve close collaboration with internal departments and customers to resolve outstanding invoice issues and disputes
Duties & Responsibilities
Accounts Receivables Management:
- Oversee the timely and accurate receipting of incoming payments for invoices in SAP.
- Liaise with relevant departments on overpayments and unused credit notes to resolve credit balances in accounts receivable (AR).
- Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly and yearly Accounts Receivables reports.
Driving Prompt Payments:
- Follow up with internal departments on the status of outstanding invoices.
- When necessary, liaise with customer finance teams to resolve payment delays.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to identify and resolve invoice disputes promptly. Seek assistance from OLA when required.
Other Month-End & Reporting:
- Responsible for the preparation of general ledger schedules and prompt follow up on items/review points in the schedules
Ad-Hoc Responsibilities:
- Support Order-to-Cash and other departmental projects involving Accounts Receivables.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required to ensure smooth functioning of the AR process.
- Any other as requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or its equivalent
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate
- with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in SAP and MS Office Suite
- Prior experience in a managerial or supervisory role
