Job Description

National University of Singapore (NUS) is committed to leveraging the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive innovation and efficiency in our operations. As we embark on a journey to revolutionize our AI capabilities, we are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Artificial Intelligence Programme Manager to lead our AI initiatives.

We are looking for an experienced Artificial Intelligence Programme Manager to oversee and guide all AI initiatives within our company. This role involves strategic planning and execution of AI projects, including both GenerativeAI (Gen-AI) and traditional AI applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the development of Gen AI applications and the integration of Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) AI products into our business processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our AI strategies align with our business goals and deliver tangible results.

Duties and Responsibilities

•    Develop and execute a comprehensive AI strategy for NUS, covering both Gen-AI and traditional AI technologies.
•    Play a Product Manager for the planning, implementation, and management of in-house developed AI projects, ensuring they meet quality, time, and budget constraints.
•    Evaluate and integrate COTS AI products that align with our business needs.
•    Stay abreast of AI industry trends and advancements to ensure our AI capabilities remain cutting-edge.
•    Manage cross-functional teams, including data scientists, AI developers, and product managers, to achieve project objectives.
•    Ensure compliance with relevant laws and ethical standards in AI application.
•    Measure and report on the performance and impact of AI initiatives.Technical Expertise

Qualifications

•    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•    Minimum of 12 years of experience in technical leadership roles
•    Proven experience as a Programme Manager or similar role, with a focus on AI technology.
•    Strong understanding of both GenerativeAI and traditional AI technologies.
•    Experience in managing AI application development and COTS AI product integration.
•    Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
•    Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
•    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions

 

Technical Expertise
•    Working Knowledge of using GenAI LLM models and APIs to deliver applications 
•    Knowledge in AI technologies including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and Reinforcement Learning.
•    Knowledge of AI frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc.
•    Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their AI services.
•    Understanding of AI ethics, bias in AI, and responsible AI practices.
•    Ability to design and implement AI solutions that integrate with existing systems and workflows.
•    Knowledge of AI application in various business domains and the ability to tailor AI solutions to specific business needs.
•    Experience with project management tools and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
