Job Description

The Development Office (DVO) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is responsible for cultivating and securing philanthropic contributions to support the University’s vision of being a leading global university shaping the future.

As part of the Gift Stewardship team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that philanthropic gifts received are in alignment with university fundraising needs, university policies, and donor intentions.

Reporting to the Head of Operations and work closely with Team Lead of Gift Processing at the Development Office. The individual is responsible in processing Gifts received at NUS and contribute to operational activities and projects. The typical candidate should have a keen interest in working in the University environment and providing administrative support to process documents related to Gifts received at the Development Office in a timely and accurate manner as well as look at the processes and recommend process improvements.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Collect and record Gifts received through various platforms by the Development Office in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with prescribed standards.
• Liaise with NUS Faculties and offices on coordination and reconciliation of Gift processing documentation.
• Update records and receipts of received Gifts in relevant databases and maintain the integrity of digital data and relevant print documents.
• Produce periodic Gift processing reports and attend to queries or clarification on the database.
• Assess and recommend process improvements.
• Assist in compiling for management reports.
• Undertake and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Recognised Diploma or Degree
• Min 3 years relevant experience at Trusts, Foundations or Societies may have an added advantage. Typical examples include administrative or numerically inclined assignments.
• On-the-job training will be provided on domain-specific knowledge of Gift processing.
• Meticulous and an eye for detail, with maturity to interact with multiple stakeholders.
• Intermediate skills in MS Excel functions.
