Job Description
The Agritech Translation Programme (AgTP) is a strategic initiative jointly established by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA), and National University of Singapore (NUS). The programme aims to enhance and accelerate translation and adoption of agriculture technology by industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage projects at the Translation Facility with support from the Translation Facility Provider
- Work closely with SFA and NUS and ensure that projects comply with project terms and conditions
- Ensure projects complete within schedule and approved budget
- Perform administrative duties, including managing programme budget and expenditures, monitor outcomes, and provide progress updates and reports on projects for routine/ ad-hoc management reporting
- Provide secretariat support for AgTP governance committees
- Undertake business development functions with a focus on cultivating relationships with local farms and encouraging the adoption of the solutions and technologies developed
- Engage and develop the agriculture ecosystem by organising engagement sessions to bring together researchers, startups, industry partners, and government agencies
- Assist in any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Candidates without experience or a recognized degree with at least 1 year of working experience are welcome to apply
- Degree or equivalent in Science, Engineering or a related field
- Prior work or internship experience in agritech industry will be viewed favourably.
- Strong analytical skills, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Proven organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, and interconnected projects and prioritize appropriately.
- Resourceful team player with a flexible mindset and ability to work under pressure.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and writing skills to work with stakeholders, collaborators, and partners.
