Job Description

AI Singapore (AISG) is a national AI programme launched by the National Research Foundation (NRF) to anchor deep national capabilities in Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The programme office is hosted by the National University of Singapore (NUS) and brings together all Singapore-based research institutions and the vibrant ecosystem of AI start-ups and companies developing AI products to perform use-inspired research, grow the knowledge, create the tools, and develop the talent to power Singapore’s AI efforts.

AI Singapore is recruiting for an individual to join the AI Innovation team to:

Develop and expand the AIAP outreach programmes by doubling our number of successful applicants to the AIAP program over next 2- 3 years,
Manage the technical AISG Community to increase AISG’s visibility, awareness and branding so as to reach potential candidates for AIAP, and accelerate the number of 100E projects for the AIAP programme.
Participate in strategic global initiatives that position AI Singapore as a global thought leader in terms of talent development and programmes which enhance our local ecosystem, especially the SMEs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong project management skills, with ability to manage one or more projects concurrently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, effective in fostering teamwork and managing high performance project team.
• Strong administration skills to management the programmes/projects with proper processes and documentations
• Experience and background in AI or analytics will be preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ideate, plan, manage and execute university outreach programmes to double our AIAP recruitment pipeline within Singapore Universities
• Ideate, plan, manage and execute community outreach programmes to increase our AISG brand awareness within the technical developer community in Singapore to increase AIAP pipeline with working professionals
• Ideate, plan, manage and execute ecosystem outreach programmes to increase our AISG programs and brand awareness within Singapore to increase 100E programs uptake to support our AIAP targets
• Work with AISG internal teams and stakeholders to build out our AISG community online and offline presence by way of articles submissions, forum engagement etc.
• Work with internal 100E and AIAP teams to manage AIAP recruitment and ensure a healthy and conducive environment for AIAPs in the programme
• Participate in strategic local and global initiatives which leads to recognition of AISG’s talent and industry development programs such as AIAP, 100E, AI Readiness Index etc.
• Provide periodic update on project progress to project sponsors and stakeholders and escalate project issues not resolvable through the AI Singapore committee’s meeting.
• Provide all required progress and final reports as required for reporting purposes.
• Support all auditing requirements for the programmes/projects
• Perform the tasks as per assigned and delegated by the Director, AI Innovation
