Job Description

We are looking for an independent, self-motivated individual to join our Student Administration team at NUS Office of the University Registrar (OUR). Specific duties include: 

A) Student Administration

•    Administer Student Exchange Programmes (SEP)
-    Coordinate with the SEP team on getting application instructions out to faculties and collation of application materials to partner universities, if needed.

•    Administer NUS new Undergraduate (UG) Registration 
-    Handle duties and activities (e.g., processing of NUS Student Card, UG Registration emails) relating to new Undergraduate Registration.

•    Administer NUS Non-Graduating (NG) Programmes
-    Handle full spectrum of duties and activities from processing admission applications to student’s completion of studies at NUS for assigned countries. 

•    Administer Continuing and Professional Education (CPE) Programmes
-    Assist in managing and coordinating the administration of students under CPE programmes

•    System management 
      -    Assist in user access management for NG administrators under online application    
           portal
      -    Assist in troubleshooting issues & provide support to students and staff

B) Other Duties: 

i.    Perform other administrative duties, and/or participate in regular and ad-hoc projects, of OUR as may be assigned. These include:
⦁    Registration duty officials 
⦁    Examination venue administrators 
⦁    Commencement duty officials 
ii.  Manage and/or assist in activities related to general office administration

Qualifications

  • Polytechnic Diploma 
  • Relevant work experience in a higher education environment preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Experience in / Exposure to the following will be an advantage: PeopleSoft Campus Solutions modules 
  • Good communication (oral and written) skills and customer-service oriented
  • Organized and meticulous
  • Able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines 
  • Team player who is self-motivated and resourceful
