Job Description
The candidate will oversee building operations within an assigned zone, covering day-to-day maintenance, cyclical works, facility renewal, and project management. The role also provides technical support for events and manages term contracts and renovation projects within the zone.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and administrative support for facility management and maintenance operations across NUS.
- Attend to user feedback and follow up on complaints lodged via FMS/CMMS and email, ensuring all site works are completed satisfactorily and closed out in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors to manage campus facility operations, including conducting site inspections and leading coordination meetings.
- Supervise and monitor contractors to ensure works are executed in accordance with specifications, quality standards, and agreed timelines.
- Prepare and administer contract documents for term contracts, facility renewal works, and renovation projects; support procurement of related services as required.
- Assist the Reporting Manager in planning and managing daily operational matters within the zone.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Estate Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management or a related field.
Knowledge & Skills (preferred)
Certifications
- Green Mark Accredited Professional (Facilities Management)
- Certified Fire Safety Manager
- Certified Project Manager
- Certified Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Officer or equivalent
Technical Knowledge
- Strong working knowledge of Building Services and M&E Systems
- Hands-on experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and/or Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
