Duties & Responsibilities
• Support HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, re-employment and reappointments, contract renewal and related administrative processes in compliance with university policies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff information in the HR system
• Assist in the preparation and submission of yearly budget call
• Monitor budgets and utilisation
• Handle other administrative tasks and ad-hoc projects as assigned
Qualifications
• Degree in any discipline. Additional HR qualifications or certifications are advantageous
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience as an HR Administrator or in a similar capacity, preferably in tertiary institutions
• Meticulous, able to multi-task and prioritise work issues, and self-driven with a high degree of professional integrity
• Strong organisational skills and able to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment
• Demonstrable communication (spoken and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Aptitude to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software (including Excel, PowerPoint, Word Document, etc)
