Job Description
The Investment Office of the National University of Singapore manages all invested funds of the University. The funds are invested globally across liquid and illiquid asset classes including public equities, fixed income, private equities, hedge funds and real estate. The objective is to provide long term sustainable returns to allow the National University of Singapore to meet its spending needs for current and future generation.
Job Purpose:
Lead investments and portfolio management across a diversified set of asset classes, including public equities, private equity, hedge funds, credit, real estate, and infrastructure.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead research and sourcing for investment ideas
- Drive execution of due diligence process
- Portfolio monitoring and management of existing investments
- Prepare and present reports, proposals and /or updates to the investment committee, NUS management and/or other stakeholders
- Assist and participate with any other ad-hoc duties/projects required by the Investment Office
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:
- At least 10 years of work experience, preferably relevant experience in investment
- Bachelor degree or higher in business, finance, accounting, economics, computer science, humanities, data science, law, communication.
- Passion and interest in investing
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Inquisitive
- High attention to details
- High ethical and professional standards
- Team player – can work effectively as part of a team
- Proficient in Bloomberg, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- CFA Charterholder preferred
The level will commensurate with the experience, skills that the candidate brings to the position.
