Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Senior Associate Director to lead a team of professionals that plays a critical role in building digital capabilities and scaling AI adoption across the organisation. This position oversees three key areas: training delivery, AI projects, and content and media production.
The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of people leadership, AI expertise, training facilitation skills, and creative flair in digital content development. You will be working with business stakeholders, learners, and technologists to drive meaningful outcomes in a fast-evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital and AI Tools Training
- Design, deliver, and refine engaging training programs on digital productivity and AI tools.
- Conduct professional and impactful training sessions that empower employees to apply skills in their daily work.
- Drive learner engagement, track training effectiveness, and iterate content based on feedback and learning outcomes.
- Foster a culture of continuous digital learning across the organisation.
2. AI Project Engagement
- Lead the team in responding to AI-related project requests from various business lines.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define use cases, prioritise opportunities, and deliver practical AI solutions based on University’s generative AI tools and platform (e.g. no code AI Agent builder and APIs).
- Stay current with industry developments in the generative AI space and translate them into business-relevant initiatives.
- Act as an internal thought leader for generative AI, keeping abreast of the latest industry trends, research, and tooling, and sharing insights with the wider organisation.
- Establish and run regular community of practice (CoP) meetups and knowledge-sharing forums to connect generative AI practitioners across departments and encourage best practices.
3. Media Production & Training Content Creation
- Oversee the development of high-quality training assets, including videos, e-learning courseware, websites, and infographics.
- Ensure content is accurate, creative, accessible, and aligned with learning objectives and brand standards.
- Inspire and guide the team to explore new formats and techniques to enhance learner engagement.
4. Team Leadership & Strategy
- Manage and mentor a team of professionals across diverse skillsets and responsibilities.
- Align team goals with broader organisational priorities, ensuring cohesive and high-impact delivery.
- Encourage innovation, collaboration, and excellence across all areas of work.
- Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and support professional development.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of relavant working experience.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams.
- Strong instructional design and training delivery background, particularly in digital/AI topics.
- Solid experience with AI projects, ideally with hands-on exposure to LLMs and RAG.
- Creative expertise in media production and learning content development.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
- Agile, curious, and future-oriented mindset.
