Job Description

As Data Scientist within the Projects, Applications & Data Intelligence (PADI) Team, you will collaborate with teams across the Office of Finance (OFN) to design, develop, and deliver data-driven solutions that support key business areas. Reporting to Manager (Data Analytics), the incumbent will be working on extracting, transforming and analysing data from various sources to develop AI/machine learning models and dashboards, identifying trends, and communicating findings to stakeholders.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and integrate analytics solutions based on OFN business use cases, including AI/ML models, Python scripts, BI dashboards, and RPA workflows.
  • Lead end-to-end machine learning development, from data extraction and transformation to model training, validation, and deployment.
  • Extract and analyse data from various sources to create actionable reports and dashboards that support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure solution adoption.
  • Maintain high standards of code quality, documentation, and version control using code repositories.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing through technical sessions, workshops, and community engagement.
  • Support project management activities for analytics-related initiatives, including scoping, scheduling, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • 1–2 years of experience in Data Science, Data Analytics, or a related field. Fresh graduates with strong portfolios are welcome to apply.
    Proficient in Python and SQL.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

 

Preferred:

  • Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their evaluation.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Understanding of MLOps concepts and best practice
