Description

The Office of Admissions (OAM) oversees full-time undergraduate admissions, scholarships, and financial aid at NUS. Reporting to the Provost’s Office, OAM develops and implements policies and operations related to undergraduate admissions, awards and administration of scholarships and financial aid, and markets the University’s undergraduate programmes.

 

As a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager/Manager (Admissions), you will support the selection of prospective students and the processing of applications for admission to undergraduate studies at NUS. 

Duties & Responsibility

  • Evaluate applicants and process applications for admission to NUS undergraduate programmes.
  • Collect and analyse data on education systems in Singapore and internationally to support NUS’s overall admissions strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth applicant-to-student journey.
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality of applicant personal data and academic records throughout the admissions cycle, strictly adhering to institutional policies and data protection regulations.
  • Initiate, recommend, plan and implement outreach programmes locally and internationally, as needed.
  • Provide backup and assistance to colleagues in related administrative functions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.


 

Qualifications

  • A recognised Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Experience in the education sector (or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and training) is an advantage.
  • Strong interest in higher education and in engaging with pre-university students and parents.
  • Demonstrates understanding of student admissions and public relations (preferred).
  • Meticulous, with strong organisational skills and the ability to plan, prioritise, and manage tasks under tight deadlines.
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently with diverse groups of stakeholders, including staff, faculty, and students.
  • Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Competent data analysis skills and the ability to interpret findings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management.
