Senior Executive/Assistant Manager

Job Description

To drive the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR), Research Integrity and Research Ethics educational initiatives of the University, provide support to investigations and other Integrity-related matters.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team to develop a new online educational course on Responsible Conduct of Research.
• Contribute to the establishment and running of in-person workshops to educate Graduate Research Students of NUS on the practices of RCR.
• Work closely with the Chief Research Integrity Officer to conduct investigations into breaches of the NUS Research Integrity Code.
• Contribute to the publication of regular newsletters to inform NUS researchers on new developments in the field of RCR/RI.
• Address technical and administrative queries on completing required training courses.
• Oversee administrative tasks associated with the above initiatives.
• Provide ad-hoc support to the Integrity Team when required.

Qualifications

• Passionate about educating NUS learners in the areas of Responsible Conduct of Research and Research Integrity
• Minimum Masters in Research/PhD; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Knowledge and experience in at least one field of research
• Proficient in IT skills and MS Office applications
• Excellent written and spoken English; proficiency in written Mandarin is an added advantage
• Self-motivated and driven, capable of working independently
• Able to collaborate with others to take projects forward efficiently
• Be proactive in innovating and constantly improving established processes
• Conscientious and attention to detail
• Able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently
