Job Description

The successful candidate will provide technical and administrative support for facility management and maintenance works at NUS, with the following key responsibilities:

  1. Complaint & Query Management: Attend to and follow up on complaints lodged by users via FMS/CMMS, iReport, the Maintenance Hotline, and email.
  2. Stakeholder & Facility Coordination: Coordinate with stakeholders and contractors to manage campus facility operations, including site inspections, meetings, building Fire Certification, maintenance shutdowns, and events.
  3. Contractor Supervision & Quality Assurance: Supervise and monitor contractors to ensure works are carried out in accordance with specifications, schedules are strictly adhered to, and workmanship meets required standards.
  4. Contract Preparation & Procurement Support: Prepare contract documents for term contracts, facility renewal works, and renovation projects, and provide support for the procurement of other services.
  5. Operational Planning & Execution: Assist in the planning and day-to-day management of operations as assigned by the Reporting Manager.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or Estate Management.

Years of Experience

  • Up to 5 years of experience in Facilities Management or a related field.

Knowledge & Skills (preferred)

  • Green Mark Accredited Professional (Facilities Management) or equivalent certification
  • Certified Fire Safety Manager or equivalent
  • Certified Project Manager or equivalent
  • Certified Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) professional or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Building Services and M&E Systems
  • Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and/or Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
