Job Description
Provide Comprehensive Classroom Support (includes Hybrid Teaching):

- Deliver day-to-day technology and audio-visual support for a high-quality teaching and learning experience.
- Deploy and support hybrid teaching technology (eg. Zoom) supporting either fully virtual classrooms or a hybrid of live and virtual combined.
Training and Orientation:
-
- Conduct short orientation sessions to familiarize teaching staff with NUS classroom teaching software and equipment.
- Develop written training materials.
Digital Assessments:
-
- Invigilation and in-person support for digital assessments/examinations.
Event Support:
-
- Extend support during on-campus events, contributing to set-up and technical execution.
Preventive Maintenance
-
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure a seamless teaching and learning classroom. Preventive maintenance includes tracking projector lamp hours to ensuring software is updated.
Training, Collaboration and System Enhancement:
-
- Conduct preventive maintenance, proactively identify and resolve potential issues (eg tracking projector hours).
- Gather feedback from faculty on what they would like in classrooms to support teaching and learning.
- Renew and enhance classroom systems, staying updated on relevant technologies in the educational arena.
Generate Reports:

- Generate reports to Supervisors on the state of equipment and/or recommendations for replacement.
- Propose new and innovative technology and software to aid in teaching and learning in collaboration with faculty.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Audio-Visual Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of working experience in classroom or meeting room AV support and/or similar technical support environment.
- Knowledge of audio-visual equipment, classroom systems and educational technology.
- Good technical background with hands-on experience in Windows OS and Mac OS and Microsoft Office 365.
- Understanding of video capture and video management system.
- Require knowledge on network camera recording system.
- Highly committed and good service-oriented attitude.
- Experience in coordinating with vendors for AV installation projects is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for user training and support.
- Team player and ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and escalate when necessary.
- Flexibility to provide support during on-campus events and exams on weekdays or weekends.
