As an integral member of the Experiential Branding Team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and executing meaningful engagements that inspire and foster enduring relationships between the alumni community and the School. This role demands a dynamic individual capable of crafting strategic alumni engagement approaches, delivering impactful alumni-centric events, and cultivating authentic connections that reflect the School’s mission and values. The successful candidate will exhibit excellent project management skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and the professionalism to represent the School with warmth and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing a comprehensive alumni engagement strategy that strengthens the alumni network, increases active participation, and elevates their sense of belonging to the School community.
  • Regularly assessing alumni interests and behaviors to create relevant touchpoints and programming that resonates with diverse alumni segments, alongside establishing clear metrics to evaluate engagement success and continuous improvements.
  • Planning, organizing, and executing a variety of alumni-focused events such as reunions, professional networking opportunities, guest speaker sessions, milestone celebrations, and appreciation events, meticulously managing timelines, budgets, vendor relations, logistics, and post-event impact assessments.
  • Serving as a trusted liaison and building enduring, personalized relationships with alumni individuals and groups to encourage ongoing involvement, while acting as the main contact for alumni inquiries and engagement opportunities.
  • Facilitating collaborative partnerships between alumni and internal stakeholders including faculty members, academic departments, and student organizations to maximize the value and reach of alumni contributions.
  • Collaborating with internal communications teams to create compelling, consistent alumni communications across multiple channels including newsletters, event invitations, website content, and social media, highlighting notable alumni stories and achievements.
  • Working closely with Events and Merchandise teams to ensure seamless, unified brand experiences at alumni engagements and supporting broader experiential branding initiatives within the School.

 

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations.
  • Between 2 to 4 years of professional experience in alumni relations, community engagement, events management, or stakeholder relationship management, demonstrating the ability to work effectively with diverse groups in a collaborative manner.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with warmth, confidence, and adaptability to engage alumni across varying demographics and seniority levels.
  • Proven aptitude for independently managing multiple projects simultaneously within fast-paced and lean organizational structures, showing a strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and ownership.
  • Advanced skills in event and project management, with meticulous attention to detail to deliver flawless alumni engagement experiences.
  • Comfort and professionalism when interacting with senior alumni and representing the School at various formal and informal functions.
  • A positive, service-oriented mindset paired with genuine enthusiasm for community building, fostering inclusivity and engaging diverse alumni groups meaningfully.
  • Proficiency with digital communication tools and platforms is advantageous, supporting effective alumni outreach and engagement strategies.
