The Role
This position will oversee the end-to-end administrative duties pertaining to graduate certificate and Masters programmes offered by NUS Nursing (Alice Lee Centre For Nursing Studies).
Job Description
Support the planning and setting up of CET programmes for implementation
- Support faculty to identify industry needs, form committees, develop curriculum and assessment modes.
- Coordinate with faculty to collate data, plan budgets, conduct profitability analysis, prepare papers and presentations for management’s approval.
- Liaise with Communications Team to map out an outreach and marketing strategy
- Manage logistics such as setting up courses to be SSG funded and securing venues etc.
- Setup and administer applications via the Online Application Portal. Review applications, verify credentials to ensure eligibility, shortlist applicants, enroll and onboard applicants.
- Arrange orientation programme for new intake.
- Coordinate with faculty to plan timetable, invite speakers, booking rooms, setting up learning resources and administrative details on Learning Management System (Canvas).
Manage CET programmes
- Ensure strict compliance and timeliness with SSG requirements.
- Prepare logistics and equipment as required by the speaker.
- Assist faculty in prepare learning materials for students. Disseminate learning materials if needed on Canvas.
- Support faculty in assessment related matters such as setting up assessment and rubics on ExamSoft, checking marks computation etc to ensure zero errors.
- Prepare records and coordinate with the School of Continuing and Lifelong Education (SCALE) for quarterly SSG audits.
- Provide concierge services and first line of support to learners for all enquiries.
- Provide onsite support to faculty during teaching sessions.
- Submit invoices for payment processing.
Manage all administrative aspects arising from the completion of programmes
- Track learners’ progress to ensure they qualify for graduation. Coordinate student graduation matters and update in Edurec. Issue and keep records of learners’ certifications.
- Track fees collection, process payments and manage expenditure within budget.
- Prepare profit & Loss reports for management and provide advice on financial viability and sustainability of programmes.
- Serve as Secretariat to committees in tracking programme milestones, curricular development and preparing periodic reports for management.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of working experience in managing administrative and operations matters pertaining to postgraduate programmes in a University setting.
- Exceptional collaborative team player with a high degree of professionalism
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and organisational skills, and possesses creativity in solving problems.
- Possesses a high degree of professionalism and adaptability to adjust to a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Application (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
