Job Description

Job Purpose:

The incumbent to oversee grant management, and to provide admin support to Principal Investigators (PI).

Duties & Responsibilities:

Grant management

  • Prepare grant application, manage post-award matters including filing, account opening, research agreement, budget variation, progress report. Organize committee meetings.

Coordinate and manage clinical research projects

  • Develop research protocol for ethics and grant submission. In charge of ethics submission for all projects in the team. Monitor project progress and ensure the project target achieved.

Data analysis and research write-up

  • Perform literature review, clean research data, and assist PI in data visualization, scientific write-up and slides preparation.

Organizing annual scientific meeting

  • Prepare scientific programme and logistics plan and lead the team in execution on the actual days.

Qualifications

  • Degree in biomedical science or public health with at least 2 years’ research experience
  • Possess strong scientific writing skills
  • Excellent writing and comprehension skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
  • Basic manuscript preparation and statistical analysis skills
  • Responsible team player, independent, meticulous, and resourceful
