The Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies (NUS Nursing), within the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore, is inviting applications for the positions of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Full Professor.
NUS Nursing is ranked 8th globally and 2nd in Asia in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025. It has a strong global reputation for its research and education. We offer a comprehensive range of programs, including the undergraduate BSc (Nursing) programs, as well as postgraduate programs at the Master's and Doctorate levels.
Successful candidates will be appointed on a tenurable track Assistant Professor or tenure/ tenurable track Associate Professor/Professor position. As an academic staff member, you will have the chance to actively contribute to the dynamic academic community at NUS and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of nursing education and research.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
• Possess a PhD in Nursing or a related discipline (such as but not limited to Public Health, Psychology, Health Informatics) from a reputable university.
• A track record of research and scholarly activities, including publications in reputable academic journals, is expected. Experience in securing external research grants or funding is beneficial (for Assistant Professor) / is required (for Associate Professor/ Full Professor).
• Demonstrate evidence of exceptional teaching and learning experience at a tertiary level, and the ability to contribute to team teaching in both undergraduate and graduate programs within NUS Nursing.
• Exhibit knowledge and awareness of contemporary trends in teaching and learning, as well as evidence-based nursing practice and research.
• Service to international research community such as editor or editorial board member would be advantageous.
