As HR Business Partner, you will be supporting NUS Medicine in taking a data centric approach in engagement with stakeholders in the following areas:


Performance Management Auditing

  1. Conduct review of the Quarterly Performance Feedback (QPF) Review Process for compliance with the QPF Review Framework

  2. Conduct QPF Roadshows for E&A (Executive) staff and Reporting Managers

  3. Inspect and analyze Goal Setting for E&A (Executive) staff to validate the efficacy of Goals set

  4. Inspect and analyze results of each QPF Review Session to ensure equity, consistency, and alignment with the QPF Framework

  5. Engage Departments with a significant number of staff rated high that is disproportionate to the performance of the Department

  6. Assist with the convening of the Pre-Calibration Committee comprising Dean, Vice Dean (Administration), Vice Dean (Education) and Vice Dean (Research) to rank the performance of Departments

  7. Work with Digital Transformation on enhancements to the QPF Application

HR Partnering

  1. Partner and support the School in a proactive and consultative approach in a full spectrum of HR functions which includes Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement, Compensation, Performance Appraisals, Offboarding

  2. Serve as the contact point for employee relations issues, carry out accurate assessment of situation and provide advisory

  3. Work closely with HR functional teams and HR Shared Services team from Office of Human Resources



  1. Coordinate and execute HR-related projects and programmes

  2. Ensure HR projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget

  3. Monitor HR programmes and projects progress to ensure successful execution


  1. Degree in any discipline with at least 8 years of experience in HR business partnering

  2. Possess good knowledge of statistical and data analysis methodology

  3. Some experience in data analytics / dashboards is preferred

  4. Demonstrable business and HR acumen, and ability to drive HR solutions 

  5. Demonstrable consulting skills and ability to engage senior stakeholders  

  6. Strong influencing and collaborating skills, with demonstrable ability to work across various HR teams and with staff at all levels

  7. Resourceful and self-driven with a high degree of professional integrity

  8. Meticulous and demonstrable experience with HR metrics

  9. Good knowledge of labour legislations and HR best practices
