Job Description
You will oversee end-to-end undergraduate programme administration for more than 1,000 students across three nursing programmes. Working closely with faculty, university departments, healthcare institutions, and external agencies, you will lead a team to ensure efficient operations, excellent service delivery, and strong governance standards.
The role also requires strategic oversight of academic administration, clinical placement coordination, assessment processes, reporting, and operational enhancements to support the Centre’s educational mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the administration of three undergraduate nursing programmes, ensuring smooth implementation of academic and operational processes
- Oversee student records, timetabling, curriculum-related administrative processes, and programme support activities
- Guide the team in planning and coordinating clinical placements to ensure fulfilment of professional requirements
- Oversee the management of the Pre-Employment Clinical Training funding portfolio, including budget projection, fund disbursement, reporting, and query resolution
- Lead the team in supporting assessment administration, marks processing, Board of Examiners processes, graduation checks, and special consideration workflows
- Ensure compliance with relevant university policies, department SOPs, and professional reporting requirements
- Coordinate annual reporting, education KPI tracking, and management reporting to support strategic decision-making
- Drive process review, digitalisation, system improvements, and operational innovation
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing administrative team while fostering collaboration and service excellence
- Strengthen governance, business continuity, and process documentation across key operational areas
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or a related field
- At least 10 to 12 years of relevant experience in undergraduate programme administration and operations within a university setting
- At least 7 years of supervisory experience leading teams
- Strong understanding of academic administration, governance, and stakeholder management
- Experience in managing multiple priorities and delivering outcomes under tight timelines
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with student management or academic administration systems such as EduRec or similar platforms will be an advantage
