Research Assistant (ALCNS)

Job Description

The appointee will assist the principal investigator on projects related to digital health, nutrition, obesity management to:

1. oversee the general management of the project
2. undertake the coordination with the designers in user acceptance testing, pilot testing, during and after the implementation
3. provide administrative and other support to the project
4. conduct literature reviews and/or systematic reviews
5. conduct data entry and data analyses
6. assist in preparing both progress and final reports of the project
7. work on other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

The applicant should:

1. have a first degree with good results preferably with a health science background
2. have experience in the process of conducting research;
3. be able to work independently and with a team, have an investigative nature, attention to detail;
4. have knowledge of computer and data analysis applications (such as R, SPSS and MS Office);
5. have good communication skills with colleagues and fluency in English; and
6. have nursing background, or honours degree in nursing is a plus.

Remuneration will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience. Preference will be given to those with previous experience in research and project management.
