Senior Assistant Manager, NUS Medicine International Council (2-year contract)

Job Description

Assist in managing various fundraising initiatives under the guidance of the Senior Director and provide the full suite support to bring idea to fruition. Help with the administrative tasks to support the NIC operations including and but limited to leads generation, profiling & due diligence of potential members, membership database updates, event management and website updates to ensure that the department fundraising and events management needs are met. Adopt any new projects that may be assigned by the Senior Director or Senior Assistant Director from time to time to help fulfil the NIC’s role of expanding new sources of revenue for the School.

Responsibilities include:

• Research and source for potential donors – profiling and assessment of individuals and organisations; generate contact leads, cold calls, answer donor queries on projects
• In-charge of gift processing which includes tracking of appeals and collections, donor service and acknowledgement
• Manage NIC communications, including email newsletters, projects promotional and presentation materials, write-ups for engagement of members on social media, etc
• Manage NIC database, design and analysis for reporting purposes
• Event management and run campaigns to raise targeted funds for the establishment of Professorships, Centre, Scholarships and assist in other new initiatives

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in customer-facing or stakeholder engagement type role
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including writing, editing and proofreading to ensure a professional product.
• Proficient in basic computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases)
• Proficient in communication software for virtual events e.g. Zoom/MS Teams
• Familiar with social media like LinkedIn
• Knowledge of Wordpress and OBS is an advantage
