Job Description
Candidate will be part of a dynamic team in NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, to organize, plan and execute curricular programs/initiatives across all medical years of the undergraduate program. He/she will also provide administrative, secretarial, and logistical support and guidance to the Education Committees and other stakeholders, to facilitate effective implementation of the curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all curricular-related matters for Phase III.
- Provide administrative support in the planning, preparation and delivery of medical curricular activities and subsequent new initiatives/programs.
- Work with departments and stakeholders to facilitate quality academic and clinical training at internal and external entities.
- Development, management, and coordination of Phase III clinical posting scheduling.
- Dissemination of up-to-date information or documents, when necessary, to internal and external stakeholders of the School.
- Manage curricular-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Execute any other administrative duties that may be assigned for the delivery, review, evaluation, and improvement of the undergraduate medical curriculum.
- Provide secretariat support for the Phase Committee.
- Coordinate and administer implementation of curricular activities including new initiatives/programs.
- Communicate and disseminate curricular-related requests and information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with Office for Students and relevant stakeholders on student-related matters
- Collaborate with the case writers for the timely finalization of the case write-up.
- Assist with tutor recruitment, tutor content briefing, preparation of teaching materials, and operationalizing the planned teachings.
- Maintain lesson plans and learning materials on the School’s learning management System.
- Compute and upload the marks for Phase III CTS continual assessment component.
- Provide cross administrative support for all theory and clinical examinations.
- Assist in Education’s events such as Accreditation Exercise, Commencement Ceremonies, MedACE
Qualifications
• Minimum bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Knowledge of medical sciences or working experience in the health or events industry would be advantageous.
• Highly self-motivated individual who is mature, independent and adaptive
• Meticulous and detail-oriented
• Excellent project and time management skills
• Tact and discretion in handling sensitive information
