Job Description

The Visiting Professor will be responsible for working closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and the department team. Their role includes overseeing the departmental educational and research activities, as well as streamlining these activities.

Main duties and responsibilities

The visiting Professor will liase with the relevant personnel in hospital to deliver the following:

  1. Oversee the Division of Paediatric Respiratory educational and research activities.
  2. Deliver talks at the Department CME and the hospital Grand rounds
  3. Conduct teaching sessions for post graduates and undergraduate students.
  4. Deliver guest lectures in our annual Wong Hock Boon Master class weekend.

Qualifications

  1. be a Professor of Paediatrics in a leading academic paediatric institution
  2. be able to help the division of paediatric respiratory medicine to streamline the education and research activities.
  3. Be an authority in paediatric respiratory diseases
