Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Professor Mark Breese on Intelligent computer vision algorithms under a project on “Development of Cone Prism Camera Technology”.
We seek a talented AI engineer specializing in harnessing the power of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP). We seek an individual with a proven track record in leveraging AI to forecast future requirements and drive R&D endeavors.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Develop and implement computer vision algorithms and models to analyze and interpret visual data.
- Build and optimize AI software solutions capable of processing large volumes of image & video data efficiently. AI platform may be provided.
- Utilize programming languages such as Python, C++, and libraries like OpenCV to develop robust computer vision applications if needed.
- Evaluate the performance of computer vision models through statistical analysis and testing to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on the analysis of visual data to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with a team of machine learning engineers, data scientists, and software developers to integrate computer vision solutions into existing systems or develop new applications.
- Stay updated on latest advancements and trends in computer vision technology, emerging algorithms, techniques, and best practices.
- Communicate progress, findings, and challenges effectively to team.
Qualifications
1) Qualifications / Discipline:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 2-5 years experience as an AI engineer or similar role
2) Skills:
• Willingness to learn and continue developing knowledge in an up-and-coming field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced work environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to collaborate cross-functionally with different teams.
3) Experience:
• Deep understanding of data science, linear algebra, algorithms, and statistics. (required)
• In-depth knowledge of computer programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, and C++. (preferred)
• Experience with ML, deep learning, TensorFlow, NLP (required)
• Experience with cloud environment computing (preferred)
