Job Description
• Set up and operate wind tunnel equipment
• Conduct wind tunnel experiments on urban airflow modelling
• Conduct computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations on urban airflow modelling
• Analyze experimental and simulation data and summarize key findings and observations
• Collaborate with other team members to design experiments, develop simulation methodologies, and interpret results
• Assist in the preparation of research proposals, technical reports, and scientific publications
• Assist in other relevant activities in the research project such as supervision of undergraduate students and management of project administration.
Job Requirements
• A Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Proficiency in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations software
• Strong passion in research and can conduct research semi-independently
• Fluent in English and able to present research to both researchers and the general public
• Experience in conducting wind tunnel/water tunnel experiments is a plus
• Experience in programming and AI/machine learning is a plus
• Candidates with good publication record will be prioritized
• Candidates who plan to pursue a PhD degree will be prioritized
