Job Description

Life Sciences Institute at the National University of Singapore is recruiting a Research Assistant or a Research Fellow for an Immunology laboratory.

The staff will be involved in research projects centering on studying the biology of human natural killer cells.

The projects will utilize immunological assays, advanced flow cytometry, clinical specimen processing, genetic characterization and other techniques. As such, applicants are expected to have sound knowledge in immunology and immunological assays, and long-term mammalian cell sterile culture techniques. Staff must be willing to tackle and troubleshoot difficult experiments, search for solutions, and be able to overcome project challenges.

The staff will be responsible for lab management, laboratory maintenance, financial and safety documentation, and student teaching. 

Qualifications

B.S./M.S./PhD from the Life Sciences is required.

Applicants are expected to possess excellent writing skills in English, communicate well in English, be well organized and work well with other lab members to contribute to the missions of the laboratory.
