BLOCK71 Singapore is preparing for the next phase of growth. We've incubated 12 unicorns, along with hundreds of other startups since our inception 2011. As we look into a new era, we are redefining the ways BLOCK71 Singapore supports and interacts with founders and the startup ecosystem at large. To support this transformation, we are looking for a Platform Owner to lead and manage our incubation platform. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of the incubation platform, aligning with the needs of startups, mentors, investors, and internal teams. As the platform owner, you will oversee platform performance, coordinate updates, and ensure data integration between systems. This role requires strong project management skills to handle multiple stakeholders, timelines, and platform enhancement initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Platform Strategy & Ownership: Own the lifecycle management and development roadmap of BLOCK71’s incubation platform and its CRM capabilities. Ensure platforms meet business and user needs, working closely with internal teams and external vendors.
- Project and Product Management: Define, prioritize, and manage the platform features, working with developers and third-party vendors. Lead platform-related projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time delivery.
- Collaboration: Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute platform enhancements and new feature implementation. Work closely with marketing, community, and incubation teams to ensure platform support their goals.
- CRM Integration & Management: Manage the implementation and optimization of the future CRM system, potentially on Salesforce, ensuring seamless data flow. Provide ongoing support and training for internal users to ensure the CRM is used effectively.
- User Experience & Support: Ensure platforms deliver an exceptional user experience, supporting startups, mentors, and staff with user guides and training.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics and KPIs to assess platform performance, driving continuous improvement through data-driven insights.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years in platform or project management, ideally in a digital or tech-driven environment.
- Familiarity with managing CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and handling platform integrations.
Skills:
- Strong project management skills, including experience with resource allocation, timeline management, and stakeholder communication.
- Ability to work closely with technical teams and external vendors to deliver platform solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a user-centric mindset for improving platform experiences.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related fields.
