Job Description
We have an opening for a Research Fellow (Robotics) in areas related to the control of drone swarms and autonomous vehicles. Specifically, we expect the selected candidate to lead and pursue high-quality research in the broad areas of robotics, e.g., the coordination of drone swarms in complex environments, the control of autonomous vehicles in mixed traffic, etc. In addition to research, the selected candidate is expected to help draft research proposals and supervise graduate and undergraduate students.
Job Requirements
• Possess a Doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electric Engineering, Computer Science, or other closely related fields.
• Research and hands-on experience in robotics (e.g., drone systems) with excellent publication record
• Good programming and analytical skills
• Expertise in control theory, optimization, game theory, and machine learning is highly preferable
• Good technical proposal writing and presentation skills
• Able to plan and organize well and adhere to the deadline
• Able to perform research in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong written and spoken communications and able to present results clearly.
• Open to fixed-term contract.
