Job Description
NUS College is the honours college of NUS, and conducts the outreach and admissions process in collaboration and partnership with the Office of Admissions, partner faculties, and other partners in NUS. This position performs the critical role of supporting admission and student outreach, thereby enhancing and enriching the experience of prospective students. The incumbent is expected to have experience in outreach, preferably in Singapore Institutes of Higher Learning, and to effectively represent NUS College at outreach events.
Duties and Responsibilities
Outreach and Engagement
- Outreach Strategy & Admissions Alignment
Implement integrated outreach strategy aligned with admissions targets and institutional branding. Drive alignment between outreach activities and student recruitment yield objectives.
- Admissions Engagement & Conversion
Develop and implement key admissions outreach programmes including Open House, school outreach, campus visits, and acceptance campaigns. Strengthen prospective student engagement across the application journey to support enrolment outcomes.
- Student Ambassador Leadership
Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of student ambassadors. Develop structured student-led outreach frameworks to support events, content creation, and engagement activities.
- Events & Stakeholder Ownership
End-to-end planning and execution of outreach and admissions events. Provide on-site leadership during flagship events, including weekends and peak admissions periods. Engage faculty, admissions, and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery excellence.
- Performance & Insights
Track outreach effectiveness using engagement metrics, event performance, and conversion indicators. Translate insights into continuous improvements to outreach strategy and execution.
Admissions Operations & Administration
- Oversee and coordinate admissions operations, including the scheduling and allocation of application readers, interview panels, interview slots, venues, and assessment activities to ensure a smooth and efficient admissions process.
- Manage admissions administration and workflows, including applicant communications, interview logistics, tracking and reporting of admissions progress, maintenance of records and databases, and coordination with faculty, student interviewers, and internal stakeholders to support timely and accurate decision-making.
- Support the preparation and consolidation of admissions statistics, reports, and dashboards to facilitate monitoring of application trends, interview outcomes, and admissions progress.
- Assist in reviewing and improving admissions processes and administrative workflows, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and maintaining accurate and confidential applicant records.

Qualifications and Requirements
- A good University degree
- Possess at least 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a lead role in events management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including advanced Excel capabilities, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and SuperSaaS for administrative and operational scheduling.
- Project management or event management certification will be an advantage.
- Able to work on Saturdays (with time-off in-lieu) to oversee outreach efforts and admissions interviews
