Job Purpose

The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) is looking for a Manager/Assistant Manager for its Thought Leadership and Strategic Communications team. The incumbent's scope of work will support content development to enhance brand awareness, drive stakeholder engagements as well as manage media relations. The successful candidate must have experience in leveraging analytics to strengthen the LKYSPP brand and manage project budgets for tracking and reporting.

Job Description

Content/ Thought Leadership
•    Identify content and related visuals to support LKYSPP’s positioning and thought leadership, and manage the content calendar to ensure timeliness of deliverables    
•    Develop and manage the website content initiatives and strategies to drive traffic and engagement for LKYSPP’s thought leadership platform (http://global-is-asian.nus.edu.sg/) and its supporting social media channels 
•    Collaborate with other teams and faculty to deliver content that aligns with the branding strategy 
•    Track and analyse analytics of the website and social media channels to identify opportunities and enhance performance that aligns with the branding strategy
•    Manage partnerships and content collaboration that supports the content build online in various formats (articles, videos, infographics, podcasts)

Media relations/ Stakeholder engagement
•    Manage media queries and build rapport with key media 
•    Develop talking points and briefing packs in line with key messaging consistent with LKYSPP’s branding priorities 

Others
•    Manage budget to ensure effective allocation and amplification strategies for thought leadership activities

Qualifications

•    A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mass Communication, Media studies, or equivalent
•    Have 6 years of relevant working experience, preferably in thought leadership, editorial work, managing website content, and media relations
•    Background in journalism and/ agency is preferred
•    Proven editorial and storytelling skills to create content across a diverse range of topics and in varying formats from print to digital platforms
•    A go-getter who constantly identifies new opportunities and growth of content platforms
•    A team player with good interpersonal and verbal/presentation skills, and committed to building relationships with key stakeholders within LKYSPP and beyond
•    Possess strong project management skills; experienced in managing agencies and internal stakeholders of all levels in a complex and dynamic environment to drive projects
