Duties & Responsibilities
Lead strategic initiatives to drive operational technology (OT) integration and harmonization within NUS's University Campus Infrastructure. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of technology integration and operational excellence across diverse organizational units.

 

Operational Technology (OT) Integration:
• Develop and execute a visionary framework aligned with NUS's long-term objectives.
• Oversee technology portfolio management and roadmap creation for OT integration and harmonization.
• Drive initiatives to unify standards, policies, and desired outcomes across NUS offices.
• Lead the design, planning, and implementation of solutions to promote adoption of OT solutions.
• Bridge operational technology with information technology for enhanced operational efficiency.
• Assess feasibility and impact of recommended OT solutions from a business perspective.

 

 

Project Management:
• Manage projects based on strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Conduct impact analysis and manage changes to business requirements during project execution.

 

Facilities Management (FM) Support:
• Collaborate with FM teams to support operations, including maintenance, upgrades, and optimization of facilities management systems.
• Ensure seamless integration of OT solutions with FM operations for enhanced facility performance.

 

Systems Oversight:
• Oversee various systems such as Building Management Systems (BMS), access control systems, air conditioning systems, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Ensure reliability, functionality, and integration of systems with digital transformation initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement:
• Cultivate strategic relationships with vendors, consulting partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure seamless project execution, resource optimization, and cost-efficient implementations.

 

Sustainability Initiatives (Good to Have):
• Support impactful sustainability initiatives, including energy and carbon monitoring systems.
• Drive efficient resource management strategies aligned with NUS's 2030 sustainability goals.

Qualifications

Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Years of Experience
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in digital transformation, OT integration, and technology harmonization, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.


Knowledge / Skills (preferred)
• Proven track record of strategic planning, stakeholder management, and successful execution of OT and IT integration projects.
• Strong business acumen with experience in financial management, budgeting, and cost optimization strategies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and drive innovation within a dynamic organization.
• Experience with Built Environment Systems such as but not limited to: Building Management Systems / Computerized Maintenance Management System / Integrated Operations Command Centre
• Competent in MS Office applications
