Job Purpose
Managing a team in charge of Platforms and Database operations and projects, including managing Dropbox.
Vendor management.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage a team of up to five staff and eight vendors to support the full lifecycle of application platforms and databases for NUS IT. Scope includes both projects and operations.
- Manage contract, work on budgeting and procurement
- Oversee platform and Database (DB) operations and incident resolution.
- Ensure compliance to IT and Security policies and standards, and support audits on the platforms and DBs
- Own and develop SOPs and policies for platforms and DBs.
- Manage vendors and the service levels.
- Manage Infra Project for On-premise to Cloud migration.
- Work closely with the NUS IT application teams to support them on their Infrastructure needs.
Qualifications
- IT Degree
- At least 12 years in IT, with minimum 5 years in a management position
- Experience in budgeting and procurement including RFP
- Experience in IT contract management
- Experience in IT project management
- Experience in managing IT audits by auditors
