Job Purpose

Managing a team in charge of Platforms and Database operations and projects, including managing Dropbox.

Vendor management.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of up to five staff and eight vendors to support the full lifecycle of application platforms and databases for NUS IT. Scope includes both projects and operations.
  • Manage contract, work on budgeting and procurement
  • Oversee platform and Database (DB) operations and incident resolution.
  • Ensure compliance to IT and Security policies and standards, and support audits on the platforms and DBs
  • Own and develop SOPs and policies for platforms and DBs.
  • Manage vendors and the service levels.
  • Manage Infra Project for On-premise to Cloud migration.
  • Work closely with the NUS IT application teams to support them on their Infrastructure needs.

Qualifications

  • IT Degree
  • At least 12 years in IT, with minimum 5 years in a management position
  • Experience in budgeting and procurement including RFP
  • Experience in IT contract management
  • Experience in IT project management
  • Experience in managing IT audits by auditors
