Job Description

Applicants are invited for the position of Associate Scientist to participate in materials development for electromagnetic (EM) applications

• To develop high performance polymer or composite materials for EM applications
• To perform simulations for the optimization of EM structures
• To conduct testing for EM and mechanicals properties of developed materials 

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelors degree in the area of Materials Science and Engineering, with a good background in EM applications
• Must have rich experimental skills in materials fabrication techniques (e.g. chemical synthesis, ball milling, electrospinning, etc.)
• Knowledge of Materials characterization techniques, such as SEM, TEM, XRD, VSM and VNA, is required
• Excellent written and oral English language skills are essential for writing manuscripts and progress reports
• Strong publication record in top-rated scientific journals would be a significant plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are also compulsory
• Candidates with experience of EM simulation are also welcome
