About Us
NUS Enterprise is developing a new Enterprise Intelligence Hub — our integrated environment that connects automation, data flows, AI agents, and operational systems across multiple teams.
This is a hands-on technical role, but not a “code all day” job. We work with external vendors who support implementation, but we need internal capability to design, challenge assumptions, prototype, and co‑create the right solutions for NUS Enterprise. You should be comfortable writing Python when needed, building workflows, and experimenting with automation tools — but the core of the role is technical problem-solving, systems thinking, and shaping how our Intelligence Hub evolves.
Individuals possessing solid Python skills and a builder mindset are encouraged to apply, regardless of prior work experience.
What You Will Do
- Build and maintain automation workflows using Python, n8n, and APIs.
- Co-create, test, and refine automation solutions with external vendors (you are not just supervising).
- Build Python utilities to automate tasks and connect systems (small scripts, not product-level coding).
- Help design and maintain data connectors and early components of the Intelligence Hub.
- Prototype quickly, test ideas, document learning, and iterate.
- Troubleshoot issues and propose workflow/system improvements.
- Explore new tools related to AI, automation, and workflow orchestration.
- Support integrations across platforms such as Monday.com, Submittable, Workable, Xero, and Azure.
- Up to 50% of your time will be spent working with vendors to support external projects involving startups.
Qualifications
What You Will Bring
- 1–3 years of experience with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong Python foundations for automation, scripting, and API usage.
- Experience helping code maintenance, debugging, and collaborating with external vendors.
- Maintain accurate, organised, and actionable documentation for code and workflows.
- Knowledge or exposure to automation tools like n8n, Zapier, Airflow, or custom Python scripts.
- Knowledge of AI/ML/LLM tools and infrastructure.
- Curious, resourceful, and a fast learner.
- Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and ability to thrive in agile, fast-moving environments.

Why This Role Is Unique
• Work in a 0→1 environment to help build a new automation and intelligence layer for NUS Enterprise.
• Learn rapidly through hands-on experimentation.
• Influence workflow and system design from the start.
• A supportive environment where learning and creativity are valued.
Why Join Us?
