Duties and Responsibilities

To provide support in administration, operations and growth of the Programmes team:-

  • Assist with administrative duties for the Master of Science in Financial Engineering (MFE) and Double Degree Programme, including but not limited to – Checking of student records, documentation, providing support at events/exams, coordination with Procurement, HR, Finance offices, liaison with students and lecturers on administrative matters

  • Support the MFE and DDP teams from front to end, e.g. marketing and outreach, application processing, matriculation, exam processing, logistics

  • Provide student support services, such as addressing student enquiries

  • Assist in financial matters, e.g., payments to lecturers; checking student payments

  • Provide general administrative support to the MFE and DDP teams

  • Support the growth of MFE and DDP programmes

  • Manage CMIS, CMS, IMMS, Canvas and other systems that support the data management and running of the programmes

  • Grow the alumni network, manage data and organize events

  • Administrative and operations support in partnerships with other programmes and universities

  • Administrative and operations support in summer school programme

  • Experience in managing social media platforms such as WeChat and LinkedIn will be preferred

Qualifications

  • Recognised Diploma / Degree with at least 2 years of relevant working experience

  • Decent understanding and working knowledge of HR matters is a plus

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Knowledge of good office practices, procedures, IT savvy, and equipment

  • Meticulous, proactive, a high level of integrity, and organized mindset is essential

  • Ability to multi-task and work within given timeline

  • Ability to independently analyze issues and problem-solve when needed

  • Good interpersonal and effective communication (verbal and writing) skills are essential
