Job Description
Asset Management
- Routine-Based Tasks:
- Support the creation, tracking, and maintenance of assets and inventory records.
- Maintain and update SAP system records, including conducting physical asset checks, verification, and printing of QR labels.
- Update and manage internal asset inventory databases.
- Assist with the issuance and return of equipment loans, ensuring timely updates of all loan-related system records.
- Perform housekeeping of items in the storage area to ensure proper organisation and accessibility.
- Provide general administrative support to the Asset Management Team and perform any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Manager.
- Project/Event-Based Tasks:
- Provide administrative and logistical support for the annual/periodic Asset Verification Exercise.
- Assist in project-based related activities such as notebook refresh exercises and Multi-Functional Printer (MFP) renewal cycles, including preparation of purchase orders, vendor coordination and deployment planning.
Operations
- Administer general and teaching facilities booking systems.
- Maintain accurate space data and utilisation records.
- Coordinate annual space review with campus planning and management.
Qualifications
- Degree holder in any discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in administrative, financial and logistics roles.
- Prior experience in administrative support, inventory management, or asset management is preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience working in a tertiary education environment will be an advantage.
Skills and Competencies
- Meticulous with strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record updates.
- Good organisational and time-management skills to handle routine tasks and project-based duties.
- Possess good interpersonal skills and able to work well in teams and take part in cross-team projects.
- Hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
