Duke-NUS Medical School (Duke-NUS) was established through a landmark collaboration between two world-class institutions; Duke University and National University of Singapore, with the objective of providing innovative education and impactful research that enhance the practice of medicine in Singapore and beyond.
The Centre of Regulatory Excellence (CoRE) was established at Duke-NUS in 2014 with the mission of forming regional platforms and networks to grow competencies, build capacity and promote thought leadership in regulatory science and health policy in the Asia Pacific, with a focus on South-East Asia.
CoRE has established a strong and highly regarded education portfolio for industry professionals and regulators. The Centre also enables thought leadership and policy innovation in areas of health products regulation, and its expanded scope now includes issues related to global health, health policies and health system strengthening. Its key focus areas are digital health, vaccines & pandemic preparedness, advanced and innovative therapeutics, innovative clinical trials, and medical devices.
We are seeking an Executive to enhance the Centre’s mission for adult learning experiences, by supporting the administration and operations to our educational initiatives and projects. The roles and responsibilities of the successful candidate would include: -
- Student Management: Be a pivotal liaison for our adult learners on enrolment and onboarding processes for both onsite and online courses, handling the queries on courses and connecting them to relevant departments as needed. This also includes managing the dedicated mailbox for communicating with students.
- Course planning: Assist the team across relevant departments in coordinating the timelines for student enrolment, in alignment to the university’s academic calendar and requirements of the courses offered by CoRE
- Operations Management: Assist the operations in the delivery of CoRE’s education portfolio – onsite workshops and online courses, including attendance, document archival, issuing of certificates as needed.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration or equivalent in related discipline.
- Entry-level candidates or Diploma holders with at least 5 years of relevant experience may also be considered.
- Prior work experience in managing education events and training would be advantageous.
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work well in teams and with stakeholders of different levels.
