Job Description
The person in this position is responsible for providing administrative support for the various curriculum modules within MD Programme in the Office of Education (OoE).
• Support the operations and administration of the Research and Scholarship (R&S) thread within the MD Programme, including day-to-day classroom activities.
• Provide administrative support to faculty and students to ensure the smooth planning, coordination, and delivery of assigned courses or programmes. This includes assisting with cross-covering responsibilities and supporting colleagues with other courses when required.
• Manage functionalities of Student Learning Management Systems and learning resources for assigned courses or programmes, monitoring student submissions while maintaining effective communication with students and faculty.
• Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Head of the MD Programme Department.
• Provide administrative support for the MD Programme and departmental activities, including procurement, student conference support, finance-related functions such as report data compilation, and processing of payments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Office of Education and SingHealth to operationalise assigned longitudinal learning activities across phases, including assessment-related activities.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein or as assigned by reporting officer.
Qualifications
• Degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
• Prior work experience in an academic, healthcare or research environment would be advantageous.
• Meticulous and well-organised, with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to support operational and administrative functions.
