Job Description
The Centre for Lifelong Learning (CLL) at Duke-NUS Medical School is dedicated to the seamless delivery of academic programs and training operations. The Executive serves as a critical link between academic delivery and financial compliance, ensuring the end-to-end administration of program modules—from initial student recruitment and registration to the successful disbursement of government subsidies.
This role requires a meticulous individual capable of navigating complex processes to ensure a frictionless enrollment experience for all students.
Key Responsibilities
SSG Funding & Financial Operations
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) funding, managing the TPGateway and SSG portals to ensure total administrative compliance.
- Define and configure complex fee structures for diverse student profiles, including International, Local, Corporate, and Individual applicants, to ensure automated billing accuracy.
- Conduct meticulous verification and auditing of student records to ensure fee calculations align perfectly with prevailing SSG funding rules.
- Oversee the timely submission of grant claims and keep pace with frequent updates to SSG funding policies, eligibility criteria etc.
Systems & Student Administration
- Lead the setup of the Life Long Learning Application Portal (L3AP) , Online Application Portal (OAP) or SLATE systems, managing the full workflow for student registration, offer letters, and acceptance tracking.
- Ensure registration deadlines and funding submission windows are met with precision
Student Liaison & Advisory
- Provide clear and accurate communication to prospective students regarding their financial obligations, subsidy eligibility, and payment schedules.
Qualifications
- Degree in Life Sciences, Health Science, or Social Sciences or related disciplines. Candidates with degrees in other fields and who have relevant experience will also be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in training operations, student administration, or academic affairs.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare clear, professional documents for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Mature, independent, and detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal and public relations skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, virtual meeting platforms including Zoom and Teams, and leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance work processes will be advantageous.
