About Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT)

 

The Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT) in Singapore brings together physicists, computer scientists and engineers to do basic research on quantum physics and to build devices based on quantum phenomena. Experts in this new discipline of quantum technologies are applying their discoveries in computing, communications, and sensing

 

CQT is hosted by the National University of Singapore. The Centre also has staff at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and the Singapore University of Technology and Design. With some 200 staff and students, it offers a friendly and international work environment

To support the Centre’s research and grant operations by managing grant-related data, tracking budgets and manpower, preparing reports and dashboards, coordinating grant applications and compliance documentation, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders on research agreements and administrative matters.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage all data management pertaining to Grant Management
    • Devise and maintain dashboard for the Centre’s research work (manpower, finances, publication etc)
    • Statistics for reporting to management and grantor
  • ▪ Fund checks for hires
  • Monitor CQT PIs/Fellows grants - analysing budget utilization (alerting PI on their over/under spending),
  • monitoring headcounts, grant expiry reminders, etc
  • Assist PIs in competitive grant application; Collating grant application documentation to submit to ODPRT
  • Collate necessary documentation for creation of WBS accounts when awarded
  • Assist PIs on the variation requests for their grants
  • Keep track of PIs on progress reporting, assist in gathering information for the reports
  • Liaise with ODPRT and other parties on Research Collaboration Agreements (RCAs)/Non-Disclosure
  • Agreements (NDAs)/Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) or other agreements relating to research
  • collaboration funded by grant
  • Any other administrative and logistical matters

Qualifications

  • Minimum Degree holder
  • At least 5 years' working experience
  • Meticulous, resourceful and proactive
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with drive and independence
  • Strong Excel/data analysis skills
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office
