The Department of Food Science and Technology at the National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for a Lecturer position.

 

Roles and responsibilities of the position include:

  • Developing and delivering a variety of courses in the FST UG and PG curricula, conducting lectures, tutorials and lab classes.
  • Assessment and report marking.
  • Serving as course coordinators.
  • Serving various roles related to the FST education programmes (e.g., as FST representative in relevant faculty and university committees).
  • Participate in other department activities.

Contract term: Three years in first instance, renewable.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • PhD degree in Food Science and Technology with broad set of hands-on skills related to food chemistry, food processing, food analysis, flavour science, and food product development & innovation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and passionate in teaching.
