The NUS Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) fosters a lifelong relationship between the National University of Singapore (NUS) and its alumni. Job Description

You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Alumni Engagement and Alumni Services teams to plan, organize and execute a diverse range of University-level events that engage our NUS alumni community as well as to ensure efficient and seamless execution of daily operations of the department.

 

Events and Initiatives
•    Provide administrative and logistical support to ensure the smooth execution of a variety of alumni events and initiatives, including forums, golf tournaments, Homecoming, and reunions.
•    Source, negotiate with and manage vendors for event-related services.
•    Any other duties as assigned

 

Alumni Services and Office Administration
•    Provide administrative and operational support to the OAR department. 
•    Co-ordinate and provide logistical support for departmental meetings, and visits from stakeholders. 
•    Monitor and manage department office asset inventory and pantry supplies.
•    Support basic finance processes such as raising Purchase Orders (POs) and processing Goods Receipt (GR) transactions.
•    Coordinate internal mail and courier arrangements for the department.
•    Perform general administrative duties and provide ad hoc support as required

 

Qualifications

•    Diploma from a recognised Singapore polytechnic with 3–4 years of related experience in events management or office administration.
•    A Good command of English with strong verbal and written communication skills. 
•    Strong project management skills, timeline-oriented, meticulous, and attentive to details.   
•    Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.  
•    Proficient with Microsoft Office.  
•    Able to work independently or as part of a larger team. 
•    Willingness to work after office hours and on weekends, when required.
