Job Description

This position will lead and be accountable for the operational, financial, and business development functions of IDEL. The role holds end-to-end ownership of the delivery, quality, and scalability of the Institute’s Continuing Education and Training (CET) and executive programmes, and drives IDEL’s strategic growth and positioning in Singapore and the region, working in partnership with departments across the College of Design and Engineering (CDE) and other NUS faculties.

Duties & Responsibilities

•    Lead and drive the development, delivery, and growth of IDEL’s CET and executive programmes, in partnership with departments across the College of Design and Engineering (CDE) and other NUS faculties.
•    Hold full accountability for the Institute’s day-to-day operations and administrative processes, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and a high standard of service quality.
•    Own the end-to-end delivery of CET and executive programmes, taking direct responsibility for faculty coordination, participant administration, and quality assurance.
•    Be accountable for financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation across programmes and operations, owning programme performance and revenue targets to deliver financial sustainability and growth.
•    Lead and drive business development and partnership efforts with industry, government, NUS faculties, and external stakeholders, with accountability for partnership outcomes and growth targets. 
•    Own the recruitment and enrolment of candidates for IDEL’s CET and executive short courses, and lead the marketing, promotion, and brand-building of these programmes and of IDEL across target audiences and channels.
•    Champion and grow IDEL’s positioning as a leading provider of executive education in Singapore and Asia, representing the Institute to senior internal and external stakeholders.

 

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
•    At least 10–15 years of relevant experience in programme management, administration, or business development 
•    Experience in executive education, Continuing Education and Training (CET), or professional learning environments is advantageous 
•    Demonstrated experience in financial planning and budget management 
•    Experience in stakeholder engagement and partnership development
•    Proven track record of leading programmes and holding accountability for budgets, deliverables, and cross-functional stakeholders, ideally in an academic, executive education, or professional learning environment
