Job Description
The candidate will oversee the operations of the Student Hostel, ensuring the effective delivery of front office services and facilities management functions.
- Provide strategic input, analysis, and planning to enhance work processes, facilities maintenance, and on-site customer service.
- Lead and manage the overall front office operations to ensure efficient, responsive, and high-quality service delivery.
- Oversee facilities management activities, ensuring all assets and infrastructure are well-maintained, operationally efficient, and periodically renewed.
- Ensure that all operations are aligned with the needs of students and the university, delivering a positive residential experience.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service standards.
- Champion environmental sustainability practices across all aspects of hostel operations and facilities management.
Qualifications
- A Degree in Building/Estate Management or Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, along with strong organisational skills, financial management skills, and business acumen. Candidates with a Diploma and more than 5 years of related working experience will also be considered.
- Experience in managing student hostels or residential properties will be an added advantage.
- Strong management and leadership skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A good team player who is passionate, proactive, meticulous, and responsible, with a willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
